Representations of Demands, Policy Proposal Activities - For Consolidation of Corporate Management Environment, for revitalization of the Region -
REPRESENTATION & PROPOSAL ACTIVITIESOCCI conducts positive activities in making representations of demands and policy propals for the business world, so that its voices can be given heed to and reflected on the policy implementations by the central, prefectural and municipal governments. Representations and proposals are made, not only for improvement on business environment such as economic stimulus measures, taxation and finance deregulation but also for imminent major issues including expansion of measures for small and medium enterprises or acceleration of Kansai International Airport 2nd-phase construction and city redevelopment, as well as for administrative and financial reforms to enhance efficiency. For realization of all these, representatives of OCCI personally see leaders of the governments for direct dialogues.

Recent examples of OCCI proposals adopted in government policies
- Extension of validity of taxation system for promotion of investment in small and medium enterprises (SMEs)
- Establishment of system to assist with SMEs application procedures for patents to be taken out abroad
- Measure to enhance efficiency of harbor functions in Osaka Bay area
